# Configuration

Once the extension is installed successfully, go to **Stores > Configuration** to configure the extension for use.

* **Banner Slider –** Enable the extension from here.
* **Customer Groups –** Select the customer groups to show the Banner Slider.
* **Auto Play Slider –** Set whether the slider changes automatically or not.
* **Auto Play Time –** Set the time interval between 1 second to 10 seconds for Banner Slider change.
* **Show Next/Prev Button –** Select Yes if you want to show the next and previous buttons for Banner Slider.
* **Show Dots Navigation –** Select Yes if you want to show dots for Banner Slider navigation.

To add a banner, go to **Banner Slider > Banner Slider Manager > Add New Banner**

* **Status –** Enable or Disable a particular Banner Slider from here.
* **Name  –** Give a name to the Banner Slider. This will be used when you add images to this banner slider.
* **Store View –** Select the store view for which you want to show the Banner Slider.
* **Where to Display –** Select where you want to show the Banner Slider. The options include Home Page, Category Page, Checkout Page, Shopping Cart Page, Home Page.
* **Position –** Set the position of the Banner Slider on the front end. The available options are Content Top, Content Bottom, Main Content Area, After Page Header Top, Main Content Container.

* **Date From –** Select the date from which the Banner Slider is enabled in the store front end.
* **Date To –** Select the date till which the Banner Slider will be enabled in the store front end.
* **Height –** Set the height of the Banner Slider in pixels.&#x20;
* **Width –** Set the width of the Banner Slider in percentage.

To add a banner image, go to **Banner Slider > Banner Image Manager > Add New Banner Image**

* **Status –** Enable or Disable Banner Slider Image from here.
* **Slider Name –** Select the required Banner Slider from here.
* **Image –** Upload the Banner Slider Image or select from the gallery with up to 2 MB size.
* **Banner Redirect Link -** Set the redirection link for the banner image.

* **Content –** Add the content if you want to show it on the banner slider image.
* **Content Position –** Set the position of the Content on Banner Slider as left, right, or center.&#x20;
* **Content Color –** Set the Color of the content on the Banner Slider.
* **Content Fontsize –** Set the size of the content font on the Banner Slider.
