Generate Access Token from Facebook

Go over to this link to create Facebook developer account.

Hover over to the top right corner and then click on See All Apps.

Now click on the registered app if you have one.

If you don’t see the logo of your Facebook account, then it will ask you to Get Started. Click on that and sign in. Once you sign in you will be asked to create an app. Go on and create the app.

Once the app is created, or you have clicked on the registered app you will see App Dashboard.

Go to Settings → Advance → Business Manager. Assign a business to that will handle the app. Go on to click on Configure in Business Manager.

You will be redirected to Business Settings. From the left side menu click on the System Users to select user and add assets.

You will be redirected to Assign Assets Page, on the page section choose any one of the pages, enable the permission to manage the page and click on save.

Now, go to Apps and select the eligible app from the list and enable the manage app permission and save the changes.

When all of this completes successfully, go back to Business Settings, and click on Generate New Token to generate the access token.

Once you click on Generate New Token, a new popup will display with a list of apps as dropdown menu. Select the app and click on Generate Token.

Again a popup will appear with the access token. Go to Access Token Debugger page to debug the code to get the permanent Access Token which expires Never.

Now go back to Configuration page to past the User Access Token.
